Risen Shine Gallery is a digital space in which visual artists are celebrated in a safe and accessible format. Risen Shine aims to create opportunities to show work and spread positivity through uncertain times. With the support of the worldwide community of creators we intend to form new modes of communication and discovery so that learning and inspiration can thrive.
Risen Shine Gallery was founded in 2019 with the goal of creating a freeform space in which local artists in the DFW area could exhibit their work. The original space was an abandoned studio, with the last name "Risen" on a label outside the entrance. Due to a global shift in accessibility of community spaces, Risen Shine has rolled with the punches and become an online gallery. We plan to host shows with a wide range of artists through our Instagram (risenshinegallery), making art as accessible as possible during uncertain times. We are excited to see what is possible as we celebrate the art community of which we so love to be a part.
